Psychotherapists at Center for Rising Minds are able to treat a number of mental health concerns in children and adults.
If you are interested in therapy, we welcome you to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if we are the right fit. Please note that all therapy visits are virtual and conducted through a secure telehealth platform.
Typically, your first visit will be a Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation, which is a 60 minute visit with your therapist. During this visit, your therapist will ask you a number of questions in order to learn more about your concerns and develop a treatment plan that encompasses your health and wellness goals.
Thereafter, therapy sessions are 50 minutes and scheduled on a cadence that meets your needs. For some, therapy is just a few sessions but others find a more long-term approach to be beneficial. Whatever the case may be, you and your therapist will work together to come up with a plan to help you reach your goals.
At Center for Rising Minds, we are able to provide psychological testing services, such as evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Learning Disorders.
The assessment process begins with an initial meeting to discuss your concerns, what you hope to learn from the assessment, and gather important developmental history. After this meeting, the testing process will begin and may take a few sessions to complete, depending on the need but this will be discussed during your initial meeting.
Fees vary depending on the evaluation and what you hope to learn. The fee will be discussed during the initial meeting but can range between $4,000-$5,000.
Is your child late to talk or frustrated because they are having trouble expressing their needs? Does your child misunderstand instructions or have trouble following through with directions? Does your child try to play with others but cannot seem to connect?
If any of the above sound familiar, you and your child might benefit from a consultation with one of our speech therapists to see if speech therapy might be a helpful support for you and your family.
Speech therapy can address challenges in expressive and receptive language, either of which can impact important areas in a child's life such as academics and social skills. Your speech therapist can support you and your child to learn strategies for being able to follow directions and develop conversational and play skills in order to make meaningful friendships. Your speech therapist can also collaborate with other applicable care team members such as your therapist or occupational therapist to further support other areas of development such as emotion regulation and play skills.
